Apple Ipad

I know it is old news now by apple have recently announced their new iPad, now other than obvious comments that it is just a big iTouch, and sounds like a feminine hygiene product, I have to say that it did grab my attention.  I have been thinking about getting an itouch at some point, and although it is a bit big to be an mp3 player, it would be absolutely perfect for use on the train.  Even so, I don't travel enough to warrant the cost of one.
I'm not sure where to place it... It isn't as good as a laptop, there is no argument there, the only thing is that its lighter, and may have a better battery life.  It is just not a computer! Merely a large iPhone that cant make calls or take pictures.  Yet it isn't an mp3 player (tho it can play mp3s) because it is just too large to carry with you when you walk anywhere.  So while it is unique... its not revolutionary, just the stepping stone between an iTouch and a laptop.

Still I would love to be in apple's shoes and be able to release any new product and have millions of people just go out and buy it just because it is a new gadget with a picture of an apple on the back...
